Permanent position: Multiple direct hire openings with a wide range of experience levels needed - well respected manufacturing leader in Greenville, SC is seeking several Mechanical Project Engineering Professionals for direct hire career opportunities designing (20%) and managing (80%) capital equipment projects for it's world-class manufacturing operations in North America. Qualified candidates must have a balanced understanding of both mechanical equipment design and project management. Outstanding benefits provided and attractive relocation assistance is available. Yearly bonus up to 5%.

**Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer**

+ Utilize CAD (AutoCAD Inventor, Solidworks, etc) to design robust manufacturing line improvements

+ Travel to various manufacturing facilities in North America to manage projects including budgeting, project time lines, procurement of materials, working with multi-disciplinary teams of people (manufacturing, electrical), outside vendors and engineering firms, etc

+ Supervise the fabrication, installation and startup of mechanical equipment, provide technical support to maintenance and training

**Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer**

+ BSME or related technical engineering degree

+ Must have 3 + years experience in the areas of automated manufacturing equipment design & project management for equipment installation and start up

+ Proficiency needed with CAD and 3D modeling software (ACAD Inventor and or Solidworks)

+ Demonstrated solid teamwork, communication, and planning skills required (ability to talk to others to understand process and be engaged)

+ Experience with the following is required: hydraulics, pneumatics, extruders, conveyors, and heavy material handling / conveying

+ Must be willing to travel at least 30% - 50% (domestic and international).
